Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, providing an exceptional dining experience for guests, and working collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment. This position is part-time with 12-20 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests
• Communicate our tea party menu and process clearly to guests
• Ensure orders are communicated to kitchen staff and timely delivered to customers.
• Accurately make tea and coffee drinks 
• Monitor tables and provide attentive service, including refilling drinks, checking on guests' satisfaction, and addressing any needs.
• Handle payment transactions accurately, including processing cash, credit, and debit card payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, ensuring tables are set up, wiped down, and ready for new guests.
• Resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including handling food and beverages with care.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed, including stocking and organizing supplies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage items, including ability to make recommendations to guests.
• Reliable and hard-working.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Flexibility to work holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays of food and drinks for extended periods of time.
