The truth about Medusa!

We have all heard the well-known story of Medusa, a ghoulish figure with snakes in her hair that turned anyone who dared look at her into stone! But what if I told you there was more to the story than that? In this workshop, we will be exploring the truth about the “dark goddess” and how she got here. We will be offering a guided meditation to connect with Medusa and honor her truth. Then, after, we will craft an incense in her honor. We have also created some hand-drawn Medusa stickers so that you can carry a reminder of your experience with Medusa energy in your everyday life.

An easy way to play a boardgame. Just bring yourself, we'll help with the rest. For this game night, the following games will be available. 

• Codenames (4+ players)
• BANG! (4-7 players)
• Splendor (2-4 players)
• Flamecraft (3-5 players)
• Wyrmspan (2-4 players)

No prior knowledge is needed. We'll get people into groups and go over rules for any games folks aren't familiar with. Just come in and have a good time!

Charming Leafy Friendship Bracelet Workshop

Learn to make a leafy vine friendship bracelet complete with a sterling silver charm made from one of the southwest's most infamous weeds: the goathead! 

Each charm is cast in .925 sterling silver from an individual goathead (also called a 'sticker' or 'torito'). Come enjoy a pot of tea and rest easy knowing you've helped eradicate New Mexico's least favorite plant from local yards, one goathead at a time. ;)

Airdry Clay & Acrylic Paint Workshop 

June 26, 6pm-8pm

Be guided with step-by-step instructions by mixed-media artist Muñeca Mistícas in painting, and decorating your very own Summerween inspired decor. Participants will paint and decorate pre-cast and pre-sealed air dry clay canvases. We will be using acrylic paint, paint markers, mica powder, glitter, rhinestones, glaze, and more. Display on a shelf, or gift to a special one after it is finished and dried.

A Beach-Themed Encaustic Retreat

Celebrate summer by diving into the world of encaustic art. In this workshop, each attendee will create a beach-inspired mini painting using a special wood burning tool (the Encaustic Art Stylus Pro) and molten crayons. This is the perfect place to hang with friends, relax, and celebrate your creativity. Give yourself a mini-vacay and swim out at Snapdragon Tea on July 10 at 6:00pm to paint with me! Apart of mixed-media artist Muñeca Mistícas D.I.Y Dollhouse series - this craft is meant to inspire dreams, creativity, and connection to the stars. We will be incorporating mixed-media elements such as curated collage images,  inked stamps, cosmic miniatures, scrapbook paper, fabric, ribbon trim, rhinestones, and more! Display the finished piece on a shelf, or take this along on any travels.
